Table Massage
I adjust my work to the needs of my patient. A treatment can range from a relaxing full body spa style massage to focused, therapeutic style massage for subacute or chronic pain and dysfunction. Even with medical style massage, the most effective pressure should feel amazing, never just acceptable. Perfect pressure varies by individual and is subjective. Feedback is very helpful in learning each individuals perfect pressure.
Thai Massage
Thai Massage is done wearing full movement clothing on a mat on the floor. It utilizes acupressure and passive or assisted yoga style stretching to leave the recipient feeling loose and relaxed yet energized and ready for the rest of the day.
Technique
My technique is a blend of Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy and Trigger Point Therapy. I focus on working through the layers of tissue to identify the causes of tension, disfunction and pain. Working with the recipient on achieving the perfect preasure to relax muscles and lengthen connective tissue.
About Me
I have been practicing Massage since 2003. I love helping people feel better through manual therapy, whether it's identifying and relieving pain and malfunction or just zenning out and connecting with your body after a hard day. I worked at the Chrysalis Inn and Spa while I completed my BA in Philosophy at WWU. Since then I have worked primarily in Medical Massage clinics when not traveling. Even in my travels I practiced Massage, setting up a practice in the Caribbean while I worked on my Dive Master Certificate, offering Thai Massage in exchange for lodging and transportation on our adventures and eventually studying to become a certified Thai Massage Instructor through TMC School in Chiang Mai Thailand. For the past 6 years I have been practicing at Bothell Integrated Health. I also taught Anatomy Physiology and Pathology at Cortiva Massage School for 4 years before begining my prerequisites for Nursing School which I start in the fall. My family and I moved to Duvall at the beginning of the pandemic and I finally have the opportunity to establish a small practice of my own where we intend to put down long term roots. I look forward to being of service to my new home community.

I am happy to work for multiple hours on multiple people at one location for a single on-site fee.
